ICAR-CIFRI celebrated World Hindi Day on 10 January 2023

World Hindi Day is celebrated all over the world on 10 January 2023. Director of the Institute Dr. B.K. Das welcomed everyone and wished Happy World Hindi Day. Expressing the purpose of World Hindi Day, he told about its beginning. He also highlighted the work done by CIFRI in the promotion of Hindi. He told that under the leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hindi has got a global dimension. It is the result of his untiring efforts that today people have accepted the relevance of Hindi in our social, cultural and economic development, and its scope has increased rapidly in all non-Hindi speaking states.

And it is the duty of all of us residents of India to follow the path shown by our Prime Minister and take Hindi further. Also, a 'Training Program on Inland Fisheries Management' was being given to the fish farmers of Sitamarhi, Bihar during January 4-10, 2023 at CIFRI and Dr. Pranjib Chakraborty, former ASRB, as the chief guest in the closing session of the same program members were present. In this session, the director of the institute, Dr. B. Of. Das wished everyone a Happy World Hindi Day and said that CIFRI is working with people from all regions of the country and is using Hindi as the link language. CIFRI's aim is to make scientific and technical knowledge accessible to the masses in simple language. And he encouraged every countryman to join this great work.
