CIFRI Awards
Dr. Pravin Putran, Assistant Director General (Marine Fisheries), ICAR, New Delhi visited Bangalore Regional Centre of ICAR-CIFRI on 28 February, 2022. He had an interaction with the scientists of Regional Research Centres of ICAR-CIFRI and ICAR-CIFA, Bangalore. He advised to concentrate on meeting the targets under the PMMSY program viz. doubling fish production and export, breeding and seed production of food fish, etc. He stressed the need to develop linkages with other organizations of regional and national levels. He encouraged the young scientists to have high impact publications and to patent technologies for the betterment of the society.
