73rd Republic Day Celebrations at ICAR-CIFRI

The 73rd Republic Day was observed at ICAR-CIFRI with great enthusiasm and joy. The Institute campus was beautifully decorated with lights, flags and flowers. A beautiful Rangoli was also designed in the Institute campus to depict this occasion. On the morning of 26th January, 2022, the celebration started with a Parade March by the Security guards of the Institute. Dr. B. K. Das, Director, ICAR-CIFRI hoisted the National Flag and National Anthem was sung. The Director addressed the staff, focusing on the sincerity of staff members for Institute works. He highlighted on the different awards conferred on ICAR-CIFRI and staff members during the year 2021. He emphasized that the Institute progressed in spite of difficulties and limited resources during that COVID period. Director praised the staff members for their untiring and sincere efforts as well as encouraged all to work hard to keep the Institute’s success on the higher note. After it, patriotic songs and poems were presented by the staff members and their wards. On this special Day, the Institute awarded “Best employee” in Scientific, Technical, Administrative, Skilled Support and Research Scholar category. After it, sweet packets were distributed among staff members.
