CIFRI pen was stocked with clam seeds (Villorita cyprinoides) of 1cm total length and 1g total weight collected from wild (Poochakkal) at the rate of 1 kg per sq.m. A total of 500 Kg of clam seeds was stocked in the pens anticipating revenue of nearly 1.5 lakhs tonnes. The stocking programme was inaugurated by Dr. B. K.
